This Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5 is a large format press camera that was made by the American camera manufacturer Graflex for over 60 years. The Anniversary model was produced from 1940-47 and offered some improvements over the Pre-Anniversary edition. The Anniversary Speed Graphic has a metal drop-bed with dual focusing knobs. The front standard is capable of rise and shift movements and accepts a square wooden lens board. The sportsfinder is telescopic instead of folding. Unlike the later Pacemaker model, the Anniversary lacks the shutter release on the body of the camera. The Speed Graphic has a built-in focal plane shutter capable of shooting at 1/1000th of a second.
This model has a spring back and a side-mounted rangefinder.
